We are a client-focused, multi-service financial office offering insurance and tax preparation to our community. Our team is small but might–passionate about delivering high-quality service with integrity and care.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and customer-service oriented professional to serve as a part-time Office Manager and potentially a Licensed Insurance Manager. This role requires a willingness to become certified in tax preparation to assist with seasonal tax work as well as possibly licensed in insurance. The right candidate is someone who thrives in a multi-tasking environment, takes ownership of their responsibilities, is consistently on-time and reliable, and genuinely cares about helping clients and doing quality work. This role will require approximately twenty hours a week with a willingness to travel to other locations on occasion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow
- Provide excellent customer service to clients both in person and over the phone
- Provide support for client insurance policies (must be licensed or willing to get/transfer license)
- Oversee client files, compliance, scheduling, and communication
- Complete or enroll in tax certification training and assist in seasonal tax preparation
- Support client retention and growth through proactive follow-up and dependable service
Required Qualifications
- Current insurance license (property & casualty or life & health) or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to become certified in tax preparation (training provided)
- STRONG customer service and communication skills
- RELIABLE, self-motivated, and committed to doing high-quality work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning office software
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous office management and/or sales experience
- Experience in tax preparation or a related financial field
