Applicants can be full-time or part-time.
1-F/T Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) (40 hrs/week M-F 226-day calendar year)
OR
1- P/T Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC-A) (Up to 32 hrs/week 226-day calendar)
The schedule is flexible, and the pay is negotiable.
Pay ranges from $50 to $65 an hour, based on qualifications and years of experience.
Duties
Services will include but are not limited to:
- Provide counseling for students and families with a range of behavioral, emotional, and mental problems and disorders.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the client and family, following the LPC & LPC-A and ethical standards and using applicable assessment tools.
- Initiate a written client treatment plan with goals, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring.
Qualifications
- Pass background check
- License or certification as a school counselor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to assess and diagnose various delays/ disorders
- Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans
- Knowledge of counseling techniques and interventions
- Experience in providing individual and group therapy
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping
- Salary between $50-$65 an hour
