We work with clients aged 13 and older, empowering them to find the skills and techniques they need to help them heal.
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with relationship issues, conducting group therapy, and supervisory experience is a bonus. This role requires the ability to work collaboratively as a team player and to efficiently complete documentation in a timely manner.
- Fully licensed and available at least 15-30 hours per week.
- Have at least 2 years of direct clinical experience.
- Be flexible in their availability, including some evening and/or weekend hours.
- Be a team player, enjoy working collaboratively and able to work independently as needed on tasks.
- Interested in expanding their clinical knowledge and developing areas of speciality.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Use evidence-based treatment interventions.
- Be detail-oriented and provide timely and accurate clinical documentation.
- Experience providing treatment for anxiety and relational issues are a plus!

Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid license or limited permit as a Mental Health Counselor in NY.
- Proficiency in conducting patient assessments and developing treatment plans.

- Ability to work with diverse populations.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and effectively communicating with patients.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation.
- Knowledge of psychodynamic therapy and other relevant therapeutic modalities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide mental health counseling utilizing techniques such as behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
