The Boston Red Sox created the “Red Sox Sales Academy” in April 2013 to develop future sports & entertainment sales leaders. To date, over 55 alumni have been promoted within Fenway Sports Group or elsewhere in the industry.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Red Sox Junior Sales Associate program is a year-long entry-level sales program providing recent graduates the opportunity to develop into sports and entertainment sales professionals. Responsibilities include actively selling all inventory at Fenway Park, such as season tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and special events. Junior Sales Associates will work up to 40 hours per week on-site at Fenway Park alongside the full-time sales team.

Start Date – July 2025

End Date – June 2026

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop new leads through cold calling, emails, texts, and referrals from current customers.
  • Complete a minimum of 125 sales activities per day, including 2 appointments per week.
  • Provide excellent customer service to prospects and clients over the phone and at games.
  • Represent the Club professionally at all times.

  • Strong desire to enter professional sports sales.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
