Sqooasha is seeking qualified tutors to provide remedial tutoring services for individuals with various disabilities. We are specifically looking for someone comfortable with tutoring PSY 230 – Introduction to Statistics.
A tutor at Sqooasha is expected to be professional at all times, respectful to all our clients and ensure that the tutoring needs of all our clients are met. The tutor is also expected to be able to:
- Comfortably work with students with various disabilities
- Perform pre-assessments to determine the current learning level of the student
- Work with the student and assigned counselor to establish learning objectives for the student
- Perform tutoring in a way that caters to different learning styles of students.
- Perform an evaluation of the progress of the student
- Perform a post-assessment to ensure the learning pace of the student is consistent with expectations.
Requirements:
The ideal tutor is expected to:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Be qualified to tutor the above mentioned courses.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $27.00 – $33.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 7 per week
