Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Human Resources & Recruiting Intern to support our efforts in attracting and retaining talented, mission-driven individuals. This is an excellent opportunity for someone pursuing a career in Human Resources, Recruiting, or Organizational Development to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a flexible, remote role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with writing and posting job/volunteer descriptions
  • Source candidates through job boards, schools, and networking
  • Help screen resumes and coordinate interviews
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and basic applicant records
  • Assist with onboarding documentation and organizing HR files
  • Participate in weekly or biweekly check-ins with the operations team

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Interest in HR, recruiting, or organizational leadership
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Docs, and email platforms
  • Able to commit 5–10 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours, flexible schedule
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) or LinkedIn sourcing
  • Familiarity with HR or recruiting tools
  • Prior experience in a hiring or team leadership role
