We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Full-time Tax Accountant to join our growing tax department. This position is perfect for someone with a strong interest in tax accounting, looking to build a career in public or corporate tax services. You will assist in preparing tax returns, performing tax research, and providing support for a variety of tax-related projects under the guidance of senior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Tax Returns: Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
Bilingual Client Support: Provide assistance and support to Chinese-speaking clients, explaining tax-related matters in both English and Mandarin as needed.
Tax Research: Conduct research on various tax issues, including changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide recommendations for clients or internal teams.
Data Entry and Reconciliation: Input financial data into tax preparation software, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reconcile accounts and ensure proper documentation for tax filings.
Support Audits: Assist in preparing documents and working papers for tax audits or other inquiries from tax authorities.
