Internship Exploring General Business & Beyond

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented part-time Creative Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing our brand by creating visually compelling designs for print and digital media and maintaining engaging and up-to-date website content. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for design, creativity, and an eye for detail who thrives in a collaborative environment.

Tasks include, but are not limited to assisting with

  • Graphic Design: Design high-quality graphics for print and digital materials, including flyers, social media, newsletters, and websites. Develop branding materials that align with the organization’s vision and messaging.
  • Website Content Updates: Maintain and update website content, ensuring information is accurate, visually appealing, and on-brand. Collaborate with team members to implement design changes and optimize the user experience.
  • Digital Media Creation: Create engaging visual content for social media platforms, email campaigns, and other digital channels. Design banners, icons, and other assets for use across digital media.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms and materials.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Work closely with marketing, communications, and other teams to conceptualize and execute design projects. Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and solutions.
  • File Management: Maintain organized files and archives of design work for easy access and reference. Prepare final production files for print and digital distribution as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Mastery in Canva
  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Eventbrite
  • Some background on Divi Template is a plus
  • Bilingual, English and Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Able to work under limited supervision and manage time effectively
