ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As Brand Manager you will be responsible for delivering commercial targets within a specific product portfolio within the Vimto UK Packaged product range.

You will deliver the 1-3 year brand plans for your portfolio through successful project management and launch of NPD, briefing and delivering comms campaigns with our agency partners and engaging with the wider business to ensure our brand plans have maximum impact.

You’ll have a high level of interaction with our advertising agencies, including the briefing and delivery of communications campaigns relating to your portfolio.

The role is also responsible for management of our social media channels via our social agency, including delivery of our social strategy, sign off of monthly content plans, management of social budget and monitoring of channel performance.

THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE

  • Contributing to the strategy, development and delivery of our consumer marketing plans, customer marketing plans, customer sell ins and brand activations.
  • Working directly with key commercial and category stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of category leading brand plans, differentiated activations, and the use of insight to drive shopper engagement and conversion within customer environments
  • Managing the marketing budget and monthly reporting within your brand portfolio.
  • Project management of new product launch projects, including development of critical paths, keeping projects on track and managing risk to ensure products launch on time.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure our brand building integrity is protected whilst delivering plans that inspire customers to support the long term strategic agenda and drive engagement with their consumers/guests.

To make a splash in this role you will bring….

  • FMCG Brand marketing experience (preferably Food and Drink)
  • Channel experience working in the UK Grocery retail sector
  • Evidence of leading and delivering brand strategies and plans
  • Experience of working with a stage & gate innovation process and leading cross functional teams to deliver new product development projects from ideation to launch on time and to budget
  • Experience of briefing external agencies and assessing creative responses in line with agreed brand positioning/ objectives
  • Agency relationship management, including social media agencies, media buyers, ATL creative agencies and consumer marketing
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness e. g. Pricing/promotional strategies
  • Project management and strong organisational skills
