We are looking for a Private Client Solicitor, who ideally has additional experience managing Residential Conveyancing matters. We foresee that the majority of the workload will be Probate, with a smaller proportion of Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Deputyships, and Residential Conveyancing.
Our firm has a wealth of experienced solicitors working with us, therefore we are looking for a more junior solicitor to help invigorate and bring a new edge to the firm. We envisage that the ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of experience, but we are open to applicants from those outside of this if they feel they meet our requirements.
Our approach is highly technology‑driven and therefore best suited to applicants who are confident in their technological abilities or are keen to learning. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who have experience using case management software, AI assistive technologies (ethically and compliantly), and e‑signature software.
What We OfferWe are looking for a part‑time candidate who can work 3 to 4 days a week. As a small firm, we can cater for flexible arrangements—allowing flexible start and finish times, plus the option to work from home or outside normal hours where reasonable. The salary is competitive and negotiable, dependent on work experience and pro‑rated according to agreed working hours. We take employee wellbeing seriously, offering a supportive atmosphere especially suited to those with family or other commitments. We run regular health and wellbeing sessions and provide health insurance (pro‑rated) via Vitality which has an extensive reward package.
About YouYou are a forward‑thinking, tech‑savvy Solicitor with experience in Private Client work (Wills, Probate, Trusts, LPAs) and at least a working knowledge of Residential Conveyancing. You thrive in a collaborative setting and are comfortable with digital tools to enhance client service. You are enthusiastic about working in a small but growing firm where your input can shape our future direction, with scope for senior roles down the line.
How to ApplyIf you’re excited by the prospect of joining a friendly, innovative, and flexible firm, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a brief covering letter highlighting your experience and preferred working arrangement to: Julia.nicholls@nichollslaw.co.uk
