We are looking to appoint a Retail/Trade Sales Assistant to be based in our Harlow store. You will engage with customers and team members to provide exceptional customer experiences and service through your enthusiasm and knowledge. You will be responsible for driving sales performance through our training to provide a high standard of customer service by appreciating our customer's needs and giving advice for customers' requirements.
As a Retail/Trade Sales Assistant, your role will include:
- Delivering exclusive Customer Service through knowledge and inspiring customers
- Building relationships with both trade and DIY customers
- Generating new trade leads through telesales
- Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance
- Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner

Nationwide our team of 450 people are involved in Manufacturing, Distributing and Retailing Building Materials to the trade and retail public. Our N&C Tiles and Bathroom outlets are dedicated to providing our customers with the most exciting product ranges and best value packages in the industry.
The Person; Ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role/environment but not essential. You should be comfortable and confident in dealing with a variety of customer situations in a professional manner. Demonstrating energy, drive and a positive can-do attitude to ensure a complete customer experience using Company procedures and policies. You will need to have a smart appearance as this is a customer-facing role and you must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours and weekends and bank holidays. Some manual lifting will be involved.
