Nicholls & Clarke Group are a well-respected and established manufacturer, distributor and retailer of building materials throughout the UK.

The Role:

  • Creating engaging and unique content for offline as well as digital campaigns, with appropriate communications to meet objectives.
  • Driving traffic/awareness to our brands through various activities such as social media, blog writing, email campaigns & offline mediums.
  • Maintaining ongoing communications through offline media and online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Hootsuite, Mailchimp & Canva.
  • Developing a communications schedule using Hootsuite and preparing relevant content to meet brand objectives in advance.
  • Drafting strong and engaging copy for press releases, websites, editorials, blogs, forums, company news and literature.
  • Building a network of media and influencer contacts.
  • Researching, creating and updating our websites with company stories, case studies, blogs and more.

Requirements for the PR & Communications Executive:

  • At least 2 years experience in PR or communications.
  • Able to demonstrate high-quality written content for a variety of mediums.
  • Strong creative writing skills.
  • Able to write quickly and creatively to draft engaging copy for press releases, editorials and posts.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Solutions-focused with a positive attitude and a hunger to develop and progress.
  • Strong time management - Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects at one time whilst ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Clear understanding of PR and communications with a desire to further develop your career in this field.
