The Nicholl Fuel Oils Group is the largest Independent Oil distributor in Northern Ireland with multiple offices and depots and retail sites across the region. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join our team at the Omagh Depot. You will report directly to the Financial Director and will have full responsibility for the day to day supervision and execution of the below duties and that of other clerical staff on site. You will need to have the skillset and experience to deal with issues as and when they arise and to manage various situations appropriately while ensuring maximum efficiency in the delivery of a customer focused service.
What you'll be doing:
- General administration including stock control and invoicing
- Cash processing, reconciliation and lodgements
- Order processing, routing administration and delivery procedures
- Depot stock control e.g., ordering of product, storage and handling
- Ex yard collections where applicable
- Drivers documentation, cash collection, time sheets, rotas
- General office duties e.g., Telephone, photocopying, scanning, post etc.
- Liaising with credit control department, re: customer balance due, limits etc.
- Liaising with H&S Officer to ensure maintenance of relevant standards within location
- Liaising with HR to ensure all staff training is completed and that all company Policies and procedures are adhered to
- Customer care and dealing with onsite customer queries
- Key holding and alarm calls
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience in a supervisory role (Desirable)
Role details:
- Location: OMAGH
- Hours: 40 hours per week. Operating hours are 9 am to 5.30pm daily (one hour unpaid lunch break) Saturday mornings when operationally required
- Salary: £28,080 per annum
