We are working with a top-tier New Zealand law firm who are looking to hire a Senior Corporate Lawyer, to join the highly regarded Corporate team in Wellington. The role offers exposure to some of the most significant transactions in the New Zealand market, including public and private M&A, infrastructure projects, energy & renewables, technology and major commercial joint ventures.

Recent work from the team includes advising on:

  • A $2.3bn acquisition of a listed energy company
  • New Zealand’s largest current infrastructure PPP project
  • A major public–private climate initiative with leading industry participants
  • The sale of national energy transmission and distribution assets

This is to join a high-performing, but genuinely collaborative team, working with major corporates, infrastructure investors, government entities and international clients. They are looking for Corporate/M&A lawyers (qualified in New Zealand, UK, Australia or other common law jurisdictions) who have at least six years pqe with strong commercial instincts and client relationship skills.
