Legal & Risk – Conflicts Lawyer (5 PQE) | Top-Tier International Law Firm | London A prestigious international law firm is seeking a Legal & Risk – Conflicts Lawyer to join its London office. This is an excellent opportunity to work at the heart of a global practice, supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to the firm’s risk management and business acceptance processes. Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on conflicts of interest, confidentiality, and risk-related matters across the firm’s global offices. Manage complex conflict checks for new mandates and lateral hires. Advise on firm policies and procedures relating to client engagement, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance. Draft and negotiate information barriers, waivers, and engagement documentation. Work collaboratively with partners, fee earners, and the wider risk, compliance, and general counsel teams. Candidate Profile: Qualified lawyer in England & Wales (or other common law jurisdiction), with at least 5 years’ PQE. Experience in conflicts/risk management, ideally gained at a major international law firm or within a financial services institution. Excellent judgement and analytical skills with the ability to balance legal and commercial considerations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
