London - $225,000 to $365,000 + Bonus
Major US Law Firm is looking to strengthen its London practice with the addition of a high-calibre Derivatives & Structured Finance Associate. This role is suited to an England & Wales qualified associate currently practising within a Magic Circle or comparable top-tier international firm, with experience advising on complex derivatives and structured finance matters.
The Role
- Advising on a broad range of derivatives and structured products, with a particular focus on ISDA documentation and related negotiations.
- Supporting sophisticated, often cross-border transactions within a dynamic international platform.
- Contributing to the wider debt finance practice, including exposure to corporate finance and leveraged finance matters.
- Working closely with partners while taking on a meaningful level of responsibility and client interaction.
Candidate Profile
- England & Wales qualified solicitor with 18 months to 4 yearsβ PQE.
- Strong grounding in derivatives and structured products, with well-developed drafting and negotiation skills, particularly in relation to ISDA documentation.
- Experience with loan products or acquisition finance is advantageous, though not essential.
- Excellent academic background.
- Commercially minded, adaptable, and comfortable working with a degree of autonomy.
- Motivated to broaden their skill set and develop their practice within a high-quality, collaborative team.
