1β3 PQE | Venture Capital & M&A Focus
An elite international law firm is seeking to hire a Junior Associate (1β3 PQE) into its Technology Group based in London.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a junior lawyer with a strong transactional background to join a highly respected team advising some of the most innovative and high-growth companies in the tech and life sciences sectors, as well as the venture capital and private equity funds that back them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising early-stage and high-growth technology companies on a range of corporate transactions, including:
- Venture capital financings (seed to late-stage)
- Private equity investments
- Buyouts and exits
- M&A transactions
- Incorporation and structuring
- Initial public offerings (IPOs)
- Working closely with a dynamic team of partners and associates on high-value, cross-border deals
- Engaging directly with founder-led businesses, venture-backed companies, and institutional investors
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales with 2β3 years of post-qualification experience
- Solid training and experience from a leading international, UK, or boutique law firm
- Demonstrable experience in venture capital, private equity, M&A, and general corporate work
- Exposure to the tech or life sciences sectors would be advantageous
- A proactive mindset and a genuine interest in working with growth-stage companies and disruptive technologies
