Overview:
A leading international law firm with a highly ranked Banking & Finance practice in the Middle East is seeking a mid level Associate to join its Dubai office. You will work within a dynamic team advising on a broad range of private credit and funds finance matters across the GCC and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising lenders, sponsors, and borrowers on a wide spectrum of financing transactions, with a focus on private credit and funds finance.
- Drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documentation, inter creditor agreements, and related finance documents.
- Acting on transactions involving secured and unsecured lending, subscription line facilities, hybrid facilities, and NAV-based lending.
- Providing strategic legal advice on cross-border financing structures and regulatory considerations.
- Collaborating with colleagues across international offices on complex, multi-jurisdictional deals.
Requirements:
- 4–6 years’ PQE, ideally gained at a top-tier international or leading regional law firm.
- Qualified in England & Wales, Australia, New Zealand, or another common law jurisdiction.
- Demonstrable experience in private credit and/or funds finance transactions, ideally within an international environment.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a high-performing, collaborative team.
