The Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager / Associate with a strong engineering background to lead and manage complex projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing multi‐disciplinary engineering projects from inception to completion, maintaining client relationships, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to strategic business growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead a team of engineers and technicians.
- Assist the Head of Department in business development and financial management.
- Plan, organise and direct activities concerning the delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Facilitate coordination among a multi‐disciplinary team.
- Manage communications with all project stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage the project programmes.
- Tender new work, including drafting fee proposals.
- Manage contractual and commercial aspects of the project.
- Comply with Health & Safety best practices in line with company policies.
- Contribute to business development and strategic planning initiatives.
- Maintain a culture of continuous improvement across all aspects of the working environment and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
- Chartered or near‐chartered engineering degree.
- Strong knowledge of design standards, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to develop and understand programmes (e.g. Microsoft Project).
- Experience in managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
- Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi‐disciplinary and multi‐cultural team.
- Agile and "Can Do" mindset.
