Nicholas James Care Homes and Regal Care Trading Limited, leading providers of nursing, dementia, and residential care, have new openings for Deputy Managers to join our teams across England!

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents, overseeing the operations of a care home. The ideal candidate must have experience in dementia care, with strong leadership skills to manage and supervise staff effectively.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Registered Home Manager in providing leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Deputising for the Registered Home Manager when needed, supporting management decisions while following legislative requirements and regulations.
  • Supervising all staff and overseeing the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, including medication administration and adherence to care plans.
  • Possessing clinical expertise, with a strong knowledge of clinical nursing practices, care plans, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Supervising and training care staff on best practices.
  • Maintaining a positive attitude towards training and professional development, committed to attending all statutory and mandatory training required for the role.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Healthcare, Dementia, and Adult care.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a UK resident or have settled status. All applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK to apply for this role; please note we do not provide sponsorship.
  • Flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends.
