Lead Electronis Engineer * 6 month initial contract with potential to be ongoing * Inside IR35 * Rate £59-68p/h based on exp[erience * Onsite near Maulden * Full time role but work completed over 4 days per week - every Friday off (5 days worked and paid) Eligibility for or current SC level security clearance is required and DV a bonus. Can start on basic. Excellent opportunity for a Lead Electronics Engineer experienced in the design, development and support of mixed electrical / electronic solutions from concept to completion/ manuafcturing. Design & development experience for manufacturing and for harsh environments is sought ideally. Defence, Aerospace, Manufacturing, background ideal. Responsibilities will include: * Design and development of electrical/electronic circuitry (includes, analogue, digital, microprocessor, FPGA design techniques and power electronics). * Analysis, test and evaluation of electronic/electrical circuits and components. * Electrical/Electronic circuit simulation and analysis. * The ability to produce technical documentation to support all activities, from trade studies, requirements documentation, compliance evidence and test documentation. Key skills required include: * Formal Electrical qualification such as HNC/HND/BEng. * Experience of Electrical Hardware Design & Electrical Product Development for Harsh Environments. * Electrical analysis of derating, stress and tolerance. * Experience of software tools (e.g. Zuken, Harnware). * EMC Awareness at product and circuit level. * Awareness of Def-Stan/Mil Standards, Safety and Quality processes. * Ability to support and manage aspects of Assembly, Integration and Test. * Experience of working with lab test equipment, e.g. debug of Electrical circuits. * Experience of Windchill or other Product Lifecycle Management tool
