The HR Partner will deliver specialised HR support to leaders and employees, helping to implement and embed the organisation’s people agenda across areas including organisational effectiveness, employee relations, engagement and belonging, lifelong learning, talent management and development, talent acquisition, and people analytics and insights.
Reporting to the HR Business Leader, the role will support the implementation of the human resources strategy across the organisation and contribute actively to the HR transformation process, with a focus on delivering an exceptional employee and manager experience.
Key
Responsibilities
- Work alongside HR Business Leaders, embedded Talent Leads, the People Advisory Group, Centres of Excellence and Innovation, and Function or Business Leaders to contextualise, deploy and embed the relevant people agenda.
- Partner with managers and employees to enable team and individual effectiveness and support a positive people experience.
- Manage escalated employee situations appropriately and establish feedback loops to improve service and outcomes.
- Support the seamless implementation of cyclical HR processes.
- Act as an active HR partner throughout the wider HR transformation process.
- Model and reinforce the organisation’s culture by ensuring HR practices are aligned with organisational objectives.
- Undertake operational HR activities as required during transformation, with the objective of transitioning activities to planned teams such as People Solutions and People Advisory Groups in the future.
- Coach and support leaders and employees as needed.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop and execute recruiting and hiring strategies for functional groups.
- Act as the liaison between HR and client groups, ensuring effective communication of information.
- Work with internal partners including Legal, Security, Compliance and other HR departments to resolve employee matters appropriately.
- Manage HR KPIs across different groups.
- Support special projects and undertake other duties as assigned. Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience as a HR Partner, HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
- Proven ability to handle and maintain confidential information.
- Experience supporting leaders and employees through organisational change. transformation and redundancies is desirable. Skills and Attributes:
- Strong facilitation, mediation and high-level negotiation skills.
- Hands-on approach with a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in a transformation environment.
- Ability to work effectively with others across functions and levels.
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills.
