They’re looking for anenergetic, detail-driven Sound Designerwith a passion for audio storytelling and weekend availability. If you’re a pro at sculpting clean, compelling sound and thrive in remote collaboration, this gig is for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Edit & Mix Interviews and Podcasts
    Clean, EQ, compress, and enhance dialogue for professional, polished sound.
  • Waveform & Text-Based Editing
    Confidently navigate Adobe Audition and Descript workflows, including spectral editing and multitrack sessions.
  • Creative Audio Shaping
    Use fades, FX, automation, and panning to bring audio to life.
  • Mastering for Broadcast
    Apply EQ, compression, and limiting for LUFS-compliant, platform-ready mixes.
  • Remote Recording Know-How
    Work with tools like Riverside, SquadCast, and Descript Rooms, managing dual-end syncs and backups.

What You Bring:

  • Pro-level experience withAdobe Audition & Descript
  • A strong ear forinterview mixing & voice post-production
  • Solid understanding ofmixing/mastering fundamentals
  • Weekend availability (paid at standard hourly rates)
  • Familiarity withremote recording workflowsand tools
  • A collaborative mindset — you’ll be working with teams acrossNYC, the US, and UK

Work Schedule:

  • Saturday to Wednesday (up to 40 hrs/week), overlapping with US/UK hours.
  • Remote-friendly, but must be comfortable collaborating across time zones.
