4 month FTC opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst working as part of a team supporting around operational change and readiness as they prepare for significant systems transformation, roll out and go live.

A background within financial services sector and awareness of FCA conduct rules e. g. banking, building society etc is ideally sought.

UAT testing experience also ideal.

Hybrid role with 2 days onsite and flexible, customer centric working approach

  • Identifying Business Needs: working with stakeholders and end users to understand their needs and identify business problems or opportunities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Collects and documents detailed business requirements, ensuring that solutions meet the needs of the business. Facilitate workshops - As is/ To be
  • Process Improvement: Analyses and maps current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend changes.
  • Solution Design: Helps design and evaluate potential solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Analyses data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Acts as a liaison between stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.
  • Project Management Support: Assists in project planning, monitoring, and execution to ensure successful delivery of solutions
  • Testing & Business

Readiness: Business test scenarios, test scripts, and acceptance criteria.

Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT.

Assist with defect triage, issue resolution, and retesting activities.

Ensure operational teams are supported with appropriate process documentation and procedural guidance.

Key skills and experience sought

  • Proven background within Business Analysis ideally to include 4+ years Business Analyst experience within the financial services sector e. g. banking, building society or similar organization
  • Good understanding of data analysis tools (e. g., Excel, SQL).
  • Understanding of mortgage lending, savings products, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
  • Proficient in process improvement techniques e. g. Lean / Six Sigma etc.
  • Strong experience documenting business processes, standard operating procedures, and workflow diagrams.
  • Experience creating business test scenarios, UAT scripts, and supporting testing activities.
  • Understanding of system integrations, operational processes, and data flows.
  • Ability to translate business problems into practical and scalable solutions.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence, monday, or similar platforms
