£34,000 - £40,000 + 33 days holiday + benefits.

Designing and manufacturing a host of products, this business boasts a comprehensive, long standing market presence spanning across multiple decades.
- Role Description
- Convert 2D Designs to 3D Designs using Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks.
- Optimize designs for manufacturing, increasing efficiency, material utilization, and alignment with new production technologies.
- Collaboration with the team to adapt designs for modern sheet metalworking processes.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective, with an emphasis on modularity, optimizing material utilisation and improving production times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation, including 3D models and technical drawings.
Skills & Experience
- 3+ years’ experience in Sheet Metal draughting.
- Auto CAD (2D) / Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
- Qualified in an engineering discipline (desirable but not essential).
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
