A well-known and highly successful business based in the heart of Shropshire are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Working within this industrial scale environment, you will be providing both reactive and planned preventative support within a team environment.

Fault finding and repairing a variety of industrial machinery, this opportunity will suit a proactive engineer who is motivated by working within a technically challenging environment!

  • Role Description
  • Planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a range of automated machinery.
  • Mechanical fault finding and repair.
  • Stripping down of machinery and installing new machinery when required.
  • Ensuring work is carried out inline with H&S legislation.
  • Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers.
  • Reporting into the Engineering Supervisor.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Maintenance Engineering experience (Mechanically Biased).
  • Level 3+ in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Industrial manufacturing or forces background (REME / Navy / RAF).
