A well-known and highly successful manufacturing business based in the centre of Birmingham are searching for an enthusiastic Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team. Working within a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment, this role involves the provision of reactive and planned preventative maintenance on a range of highly automated machinery. Keeping machinery running is the name of the game!
This role will suit an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working as part of a multi-skilled team within a stimulating, technically challenging environment!
Role Description:- Provision of planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a broad range of automated production/process machinery.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair activities.
- Working on inverters, PLCs, motors, PSUs.
- Reading electrical schematics/drawings.
- Overhauling machinery and installing new equipment when required.
- Keeping H&S at the forefront when all work is conducted.
- Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers.
- Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience (ideally electrically biased).
- Qualified to Level 3+ in electrical engineering.
- Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance.
- PLC Fault Finding skills (desirable).
- Experience within a manufacturing environment.
