Maintenance Engineer.\\n\\nBirmingham, West Midlands.\\n\\nFMCG Manufacturing Business.\\n\\n£46,000 + overtime + benefits.\\n\\nShift Pattern: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday – Friday) / Weekly Rotation (37.5 hours per week)\\n\\nA well-known and highly successful manufacturing business based in the centre of Birmingham are searching for an enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team. Working within a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment, this role involves the provision of reactive and planned preventative maintenance on a range of highly automated machinery.\\n\\nKeeping machinery running is the name of the game! This role will suit an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer who enjoys working as part of a multi-skilled team within a stimulating, technically challenging environment!\\n\\nRole Description.\\n\\n * Provision of planned and reactive maintenance engineering across a broad range of automated production / process machinery.\\n\\n * Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair activities.\\n\\n * Working on invertors, PLC’s, motors, PSU’s.\\n\\n * Reading electrical schematics / drawings.\\n\\n * Overhauling machinery and installing new equipment when required.\\n\\n * Keeping H&S at the forefront when all work is conducted.\\n\\n * Working alongside a cross-sectional team of skilled engineers.\\n\\nSkills and Qualifications\\n\\n * Maintenance Engineering experience (ideally electrically biased).\\n\\n * Qualified to Level 3+ in electrical engineering.\\n\\n * Ability to perform both planned and reactive maintenance.\\n\\n * PLC Fault Finding skills (desirable).\\n\\n * Experience within a manufacturing environment.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a business who support and develop their staff.
