An excellent opportunity for a Team Leader with manufacturing experience to join a stable and progressive business. This role involves leading a team within a high speed and dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring the product is processed effectively. This role will suit a Team Leader who enjoys supporting the development of the team, managing workflow and aiming to make ongoing improvements.

Role Description:

  • Effectively lead team to achieve the best operational performance.
  • Meet the packaging schedule while conforming to all product specifications.
  • Maintain a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained properly.
  • Promote Health & Safety throughout department.
  • Deliver line efficiencies above 85% without compromise to quality and safety.
  • Coach and develop others to improve performance across the department.
  • Assist in site fortnightly audits.
  • Ensure all staff training is up to date, assist in carrying out return to work interviews.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Team leadership / supervisory experience.
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Clear communication skills and highly organised.
  • Ability to motivate and develop people within a team.
  • Computer literate.
