We are looking to appoint a full time Technology Technician to assist teaching staff in providing students at Nicholas Breakspear Catholic School in the delivery of Design & Technology and ensure high levels of achievement. The successful candidate will provide support to the Design & Technology department including, but not limited to, support to Technology, 3D Design, Food and Hospitality and Catering.
Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) – term time only plus 5 inset days and 1 week during summer holidays to prepare for the new academic year. Days / Times: Monday – Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am – 3:30pm with 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day.
Annual Leave: 5.8 weeks (paid pro‑rata for part‑time) to be taken during school holidays – 45.8 weeks paid per year.
Grade: H4., Scale Point 6 to H4, Scale Point 9 – dependent on experience.
Salary: FTE £26,718 – £27,983 (actual salary will be between £23,532 and £24,646 pro‑rata) for 45.8 weeks – paid over 12 equal monthly instalments.
Closing Date: 17th June 2026. Interviews Week commencing 22nd June 2026 – interviews may take place earlier than the closing date.
