We are looking to appoint a full time Technology Technician to assist teaching staff in the delivery of Design & Technology and ensure high levels of achievement. The successful candidate will provide support to the Design & Technology department including support to Technology, 3D Design, Food and hospitality and catering.
Key Dates and Hours
- Hours: Full Time (37 hours per week) – Term time only plus 5 inset days and 1 week during summer holidays to prepare for the new academic year.
- Days/Times: Monday - Thursday 8am to 4pm, Friday 8am - 3.30pm (with 30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day)
- Annual Leave: 5.8 weeks (paid pro‑rata for part‑time) to be taken during school holidays – 45.8 weeks paid per year
- Grade: H4 – Scale Point 6 to H4, Scale point 9 – dependent on experience
- Salary: FTE £26,718 – £27,983 (actual salary will be between £23,532 and £24,646 pro‑rata) for 45.8 weeks – paid over 12 equal monthly instalments
