A leading Tier 2 contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their Bristol team, delivering major high‑rise projects as part of a long‑term regional pipeline. The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for day‑to‑day site operations on a large‑scale high‑rise development. You’ll ensure work is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards, coordinating subcontractors and supporting the wider project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations on a major high‑rise project
- Manage subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
- Maintain programme, quality, and H&S standards
- Coordinate blockwork packages and ensure sequencing is followed
- Lead site inductions, briefings, and toolbox talks
- Work closely with the Project Manager and commercial team
- Ensure compliance with Tier 1 processes and client expectations
Essential Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor
- Strong background in high‑rise construction (residential or commercial)
- Demonstrable experience managing blockwork packages
- Excellent understanding of H&S, quality control, and programme management
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
