The basics: Job Title: Toolroom Manager – Extrusion Location: Ilkeston Industry: Manufacturing Shift: Monday to Thursday (8.15am to 5.00pm) and Fridays (8.30am to 3.00pm) Pay: Up to £55,000 DOE Benefits: 33 days holiday, company pension 6% paid by employer, life insurance x3 of salary, on-site parking, BUPA Healthcare. Desired background: Previous toolroom experience within an extrusion environment Overview for the Toolroom Manager role: Working for a large manufacturing business that have manufacturing plants in the UK and EU, we now require a Manager to lead the Die Shop. Your department will consist of 15 employees that are all permanent workers for the business with 30+ years experience between them. This is a great opportunity to make the department your own – putting in KPI's and performance trackers and structuring the day for the team so that they are all directed to achieve company performance and out put. You will work closely with the Operations Manager being supported by a Team Leader and Senior Die Corrector. The ideal candidate / Toolroom Manager may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Previous experience managing a Toolroom in an extrusion manufacturing environment A strong communicator with the ability to coach and lead.Commutable from: Loughborough, Leicester, Coalville, Derby, Nottingham and surrounding areas.
