Position: Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician
Shifts: Days only, Monday to Thursday 4 day week
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £38,000
Mechanical bias preferred
Responsibilities- Working as part of a maintenance team responsible for maintenance activities on-site including mechanical fitting, fault finding, purchasing, installation, commissioning, and site maintenance.
- Working on scheduled PPMs from a CMMS system.
- Respond quickly to any reactive production breakdowns.
- Ensuring continued supply of critical spares.
- Ensuring that the plant is running at an optimum level, minimising downtime, and achieving all internal maintenance demands in an effective and timely manner, in a way that minimises costs and maximises efficiencies.
- Achieve KPIs through the CMMS system.
- Apprentice trained in Mechanical engineering or very similar.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics preferred.
- Methodical fault finder.
- Happy to work as part of a team.
- Fabrication skills beneficial but not necessary.
- Any basic electrical knowledge beneficial.
- Assisting with projects e.g. machinery installation.
