Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Days only, Monday to Friday with some flexi-time

Salary: £38,000 plus bonus (2025 c £5,000)

Location: South Yorkshire

Role Overview

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll carry out both reactive and planned maintenance across a busy manufacturing site. You'll work closely with production teams to keep machinery running efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical reactive maintenance and fault‑finding
  • Drive board examination, fuse changes, parameter loading
  • PLC fault‑finding, part replacement, and program loading
  • Maintenance of AC, DC and Servo motors
  • Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules

Requirements

  • Experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification
  • Experience with extrusion machinery is desirable
  • Strong electrical fault‑finding skills across PLCs, motors, and control systems
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
