Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

Salary: £29,800 + shift allowance

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm, Friday: 5:00am - 1:00pm
  • Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm - 10:00pm, Friday: 1:00pm - 9:00pm - +25% shift allowance
  • Sunday to Friday: 10:00pm - 6:00am (night shift) - +36% shift allowance

Responsibilities will include:

  • Measurement and analysis for all patterns and castings
  • Operate and maintain FARO scanning arm, Hexagon scanning arm, and Hexagon Coordinate Measuring Machine
  • Carry out CMM accuracy verification checks
  • Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards
  • Carry out manual dimensional inspection using equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and other precision tools
  • Conduct CMM inspection activities and produce accurate measurement reports
  • Ensure all inspected parts meet aerospace quality requirements
  • Attend NCR meetings and support corrective action activities
  • Ensure official routing documentation and procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Ensure the latest approved software versions are available and maintain proficiency in their use
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with company health and safety procedures

Responsibilities are not limited to the above and may include any other duties required to support business needs.

  • An eye for detail and ability to perform accurate measurements.
  • Familiarity with CMM software such as PC-DMIS.
