Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Sales Support Engineer to join an established client based in Sheffield. You will be responsible for providing accurate technical processing, system control, and delivery realism for Fabrication work. The role supports sales and production through administration, CAD support, quality reporting, and early escalation of technical, capacity, or data risk. The role combines technical processing, administrative control, and sales support. You will be positioned between Sales and Production, driving accuracy, discipline, and delivery control across the operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process drawings, components, and assemblies accurately within Sigma / MRP systems
- Ensure all fabrication steps, materials, and operations are correctly captured
- Maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and job data to support production and costing
- Support quotation accuracy through disciplined technical processing
- Use customer-supplied information to produce or amend manufacturing drawings
