Overview: We now require a Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team. Working for a manufacturing business that has sites across the globe, you will be working in a multi-skilled role. Both electrical and mechanical engineers are considered; however, electrical skills will be required for the role. For those that do not have electrical certificates, the company can provide courses to obtain these.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain, service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns.

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following; however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served, apprentice trained or above.
- Previous experience working in a maintenance-focused role within a manufacturing/production environment or similar.
- An electrical understanding changing like for like parts and basic fault finding would be beneficial if you do not have electrical certifications (Electrical training can be given – the company provides electrical courses offsite).
- Experienced working with hydraulic focused machinery beneficial.
