The overall purpose of this role is to lead research and development initiatives, driving product innovation and improvement. The successful candidate will oversee the product development process, ensuring compliance with industry standards, optimising performance, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise efficiency and return on investment.

Must be able to demonstrate a record of achievement and significant successes in R&D management, preferably in the construction or façade industry. Have strong knowledge of façade materials, particularly aluminium, as well as steel, glass, timber, and plastics. Be familiar with industry regulations, testing standards, building codes and have a robust understanding of the building safety act.
