Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector required. Do you have previous experience visually and dimensionally checking machined or fabricated components? If so, then please read on!

The Basics:

• Location: Heanor
• Position: Permanent
• Basic salary: £16.97 per hour / £34,415 per annum + overtime = earnings of £40,000 and upwards achievable
• Hours: Monday-Thursday (7.30am-4.30pm) and Fridays (7.30am-2.00pm)
• Holidays/Benefits: 33 days, 13 weeks company sick pay, 4% pension contribution.

Overview:

We now require a Quality Inspector to join the inspection department. You will be tasked to inspect fabricated components with hand held measuring tools associated with a precision engineering environment. Working in a modern purpose-built manufacturing facility for a high-end precision engineering business.

The ideal candidate may have some of the following:

• Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
• Competent at reading engineering drawings
• Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using hand held measuring tools such as Verniers, calipers, measuring tapes etc.

Commutable from: Eastwood, Ripley, Heanor, Alfreton, Pinxton and surrounding areas.
