Nicholas Associates are working in partnership with a valued client to recruit a Quality Assurance Advisor. Our client is a highly successful groundworks contractor, delivering projects for well-known housebuilders and developers. They have built a strong reputation for quality, integrity, and fostering long-term client relationships, supported by a consistent track record of delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities include:
- Report to a Senior Quality Advisor
- Carry out inspections across key stages such as Roads, Sewers, Earthworks, Drainage, Substructures and External Works
- Ensure activities are delivered safely, compliantly and to the required technical and workmanship standards before progressing
- Verify activities meet drawings, specifications, regulatory requirements, NHBC Standards and company procedures
- Gather accurate data, following consistent processes and feeding back insights
- Contribute to the continued development and improvement of the company's QA systems and standards
- Support senior QA colleagues with more complex inspections and hold points
- Escalate non‐conformances promptly and professionally
- Assist in gathering information for quality investigations
- Maintain awareness of NHBC standards, adoptable requirements and basic highway/regulatory expectations
- Support Senior Quality Advisor in delivering toolbox talks, demonstrations and basic training to site teams
