About the role:

Part of a larger group but still operating as a separate business unit, this organisation specialises in CNC machining with a small welding operation in addition. The Operations Manager will take autonomous responsibility for all aspects of the business apart from sales and finance. This will include:

  • People management
  • Production
  • Health and safety
  • Quality management
  • Cost management

You will ensure the ongoing capacity of machines, labour, tooling and materials to deliver customer production on time, to budget and to quality. As the General Manager, you will also be responsible for presenting performance metrics to the Group. We are very much looking for a hands-on leader, visible on the shop floor leading by example.
