Overview
With manufacturing facilities located across the globe, you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and reactive maintenance.
Key responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer role
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production downtime.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns PPM's.
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Time served apprenticeship
- Strong Maintenance background working in a medium to heavy engineering environment beneficial - maintaining automated machinery/electrically biased fault finding.
- Educated in a relevant engineering discipline - City and Guilds/NVQ level 3/HNC/HND etc.
- Experience working with variable speed drives, motors, sensors, relays, pumps etc.
- Commutable from: Lancaster, Carnforth, Morecambe and surrounding areas.
