Nicholas Associates are working in partnership with a well-established and industry-leading manufacturer within the power equipment packaging sector. Our client, with over 25 years of expertise, specialises in the design and build of precision-engineered acoustic and modular enclosures, housings, and associated infrastructure for the power generation and energy sectors.
We are now looking to speak with experienced and driven M&E Fit-Out Managers to take ownership of a critical role overseeing the mechanical and electrical elements of bespoke fit-out projects.
Role Overview
As the M&E Fit-Out Manager, you will be responsible for leading the installation and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems across multiple complex projects. You’ll manage both direct staff and subcontractors, ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards, and be a key driver of project delivery from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage mechanical and electrical fit-out works across multiple ongoing projects
- Coordinate staff and subcontractors to meet programme deadlines and budgets
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health & safety regulations and project specifications
- Monitor progress, quality assurance, and cost control
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Provide expert technical advice and resolve any on-site M&E challenges
Requirements
- Proven experience in M&E fit-out management, ideally within the construction or interiors sector
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, regulations, and fit-out methods
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical or electrical engineering, construction, or project management are highly desirable
Working Hours
40 hours per week
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am–1:00pm
Company closes for all Bank Holidays and enjoys a Christmas shutdown period.
