Health And Safety Coordinator in London

Overview Health and Safety coordinator role at a large manufacturing company with facilities worldwide. You will be joining a first-class manufacturing business that offers progression for motivated individuals.

Job Title: Health and Safety coordinator

Pay: £28,000 to £35,000 DOE

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.00am – 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am – 1.00pm

Location: HQ Manufacturing based in Derby

Travel: Use of own car to visit other sites once trained; hybrid potential once trained. Sites in the Northeast and South East of England.

Development: Scope for training – IOSH / NEBOSH funded by the company and development through the ranks.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the EHS Manager and the wider Health and Safety team, as well as Operations & Engineering Departments.

Assist in facilitating a safe workplace, fostering safe behaviours, and implementing site and group policies and procedures.

Contribute to continuous improvement in health and safety across sites.

Qualifications

Desirable: Interest in developing within the health and safety profession within a manufacturing environment.

IOSH Managing Safely (desirable).

Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills.

CommutingCommutable from: Derby, Burton, Castle Donington, Nottingham, Belper and surrounding areas.
