Overview
Working for a company with manufacturing facilities located across the globe, you will be working in an automated manufacturing environment for a well-known brand within their respective field. The Controls Engineer will be tasked to ensure that the manufacturing facility runs smoothly and working within the engineering/maintenance team to provide high level knowledge and experience of automated systems and control processes used in operations.
Key responsibilities of the Controls Engineer role
- Design & Program: Develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs for automation systems.
- Troubleshoot & Optimize: Analyse control systems to identify issues and implement improvements.
- Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems.
Desirable experience (not essential)
- HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field (preferred)
- Strong experience in PLC programming & HMI development
- Previous experience working as a Controls / Automation Engineer
