Start: Immediate
Pay Rates:
- £14.74 per hour - first 8 hours (Mon-Fri)
- £22.11 per hour - after 8 hours daily
- £29.48 per hour - Saturday & Sunday
Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to work on a busy site in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of loading shovel machinery, supporting site, material movement, and general yard duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate loading shovel equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, move, and manage materials as directed
- Work closely with site supervisors and ground teams
- Carry out daily machine checks and report defects
- Maintain high safety standards at all times
- Support general site operations when required
Requirements
Candidates must hold the following valid certifications:
- CSCS or CCNSG
- EMSS
- NPORS card (or equivalent recognised qualification)
Additional Requirements
- Proven experience operating a loading shovel on busy sites
- Strong awareness of site safety
- Ability to work weekends when required
- Reliability and good communication skills
- Working in all weather conditions
