The basics:

  • Pay: £33,500 to £40,000 DOE
  • Location: Liverpool – near Fairfield
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Fridays early finish
  • Contracted hours per week - 37.5
  • Holidays and Benefits: 33 days plus 1 day for Birthday 34 days total, x2 salary life assurance, free parking and EV charge points onsite

Environment: Manufacturing – Food/FMCG

Overview: Working in a fast-paced FMCG / Food Manufacturing environment we now require a Supply Chain Planner to join the materials planning and supply chain department.

Key responsibilities of the Supply Chain Planner role:

  • Overseeing the efficient flow of ingredients, packaging, and externally sourced materials into the business, ensuring agreed inventory levels are maintained and production demands are met without disruption.
  • Execute detailed 12-week material planning, working closely with Planning and Purchasing teams to meet shared objectives.
  • Interpret MRP outputs to manage purchase orders and ensure alignment with business needs through regular parameter and data review.
  • Liaise with suppliers to expedite deliveries, improve OTIF performance, and support resolution of material quality issues.
  • Plan and manage internal material replenishment.
