We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Workshop Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the build and rebuild of engine assemblies, including the dismantling, inspection, measurement, and reassembly of all components in line with company standards and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build complete engine assemblies, including inspection and measurement of critical components as defined in company build manuals and processes.
- Strip and rebuild engine assemblies, ensuring all components meet required specifications.
- Strip and rebuild engine sub-components.
- Carry out pre- and post-dyno inspections prior to engine testing and shipment.
- Accurately record and maintain all engine build data, ensuring records are kept up to date.
- Report faults and record relevant information within the main engine database.
- Consider health and safety, environmental, and energy impacts in all activities.
- Support company compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following internal policies and best practices.

Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous engine build or rebuild experience is preferred, within a main dealership or similar environment.
- NVQ Level 2-3 in Mechanical Engineering, BTEC, ONC, or a higher qualification in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred.
