We're looking for an experienced Workshop Manager to lead the technical delivery and day-to-day operation of our engine department. This is a hands-on role, combining engine build work with team leadership, scheduling, and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Own delivery of engine rebuilds and refreshes to schedule and quality targets
- Be hands-on with engine builds when required
- Set and manage the workshop plan, resources, and priorities
- Lead engine failure analysis and non-conformance actions
- Manage dyno operations, ECU/data analysis, and technical support
- Drive department efficiency, productivity, and H&S standards
- Lead, develop, and performance-manage the engine team
- Create and maintain SOPs, quality standards, and training plans
- Work closely with R&D, production, quality, and operations
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience building, rebuilding, and tuning automotive engines
- Proven workshop leadership or management experience in a main dealership or similar environment
- Strong diagnostic skills, including data analysis
- Confident communicator with a practical, delivery-focused mindset
- Comfortable using ERP systems and MS Office
